RAIN BARREL SALE AND BBQ
We will be hosting a BBQ on May 19th as part of our Rain Barrel sale. Please take this opportunity to pick up a rain barrel for your home.
A Rain Barrel can drastically reduce runoff and also stores relatively clean (and unchlorinated) water for use on lawns and gardens. You can also reduce domestic water use, lowering water bills and demands on city water system, especially during peak summer periods.
Rain Barrels are $50 each.

Proceeds from the sales go to support Mountain Kidz programs.

SUMMER KAMP REGISTRATIONS
SUMMER KAMP REGISTRATIONS
We will be at the Eastmount Community Centre for Kamp registrations on the following dates;
May 27th, 1pm-4pm
June 3rd, 1pm-4pm
June 10th, 1pm-4pm
June 24th, 1pm-4pm
The Kamp program offers 5 days a week care for children ages 4-11 from 8:30AM - 4:30PM with a healthy lunch, exercise and play time. Children are taught self resepect and a resepect of others. The cost is $110.00 per child per week. Extended hours available upon request for an aditional $5/day.
Register before July. 1st to save $10.00 per week. Please reserve your space early! Cash or Certified Cheques only.
We also have leadership opportunities for ages 12 and up for a fee of $20 per day or $75 per week inclusive.

CLOTHING BAG/RUMMAGE SALE
We will be hosting a Clothing Bag and Rummage Sale. Come out to find gently used and nearly new items donated by our supporters

Mountain Kidz Klub will be selling Rain Barrels for $50 / barrel.
COLLECTING USED ITEMS
We are currently collecting gently used children and youth bikes, for kids that need a bike. Bikes will be award to children who help with our park clean ups in conjunction with the city's Adopt-a-Park program.
If you know of a child who is in need of a bike, please encourage them to sign up to help with cleaning the park. If you have a bicycle you'd like to donate or would like to help with the clean up yourself, please

Volunteers needed!
We are anxiously seeking new volunteers to help with our programs. It is mostly light duty work but needs time commitements of usualy a 2h or 4h block on a weekly basis.
If you have time, come meet some great people and help your community at the grass roots level.
